DESCRIPTION: Aceto Balsamico di Modena I.G.P. Invecchiato Silver is the most prestigious product in our collection.

Silver Seal Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. is characterized by a balanced, soft, enveloping and pleasantly acidulous flavour. It has a clear, bright black colour and a fragrant aroma, enhanced by pronounced balsamic notes.

The persistent scents and strong flavours are due to the prolonged refinement in oak barrels to which each of our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. is subjected. These barrels are never completely emptied: this allows us to guarantee a special continuous circle of aromas and extraordinary organoleptic characteristics.

Ingredients: Cooked grape must, wine vinegar. It is a 100% natural product. It contains no preservatives, dyes, thickeners, antioxidants, sweeteners or added sulphites.

Suggestion and Recipes

This Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P. Invecchiato is recommended to accompany mature cheeses and fresh hors d’oeuvres, and can be used in the preparation of desserts.

Pears in red wine and balsamic vinegar

INGREDIENTS:

350ml di vino rosso
100ml di acqua
50 ml di aceto balsamico
130g di zucchero
4 pere

PREPARATION:

Peel the pears and cut them in half. Pour the red wine, sugar and balsamic vinegar into a saucepan with high sides and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and dip the pears in the wine and cook for about 15 minutes over low heat until softened. Remove the pot from the heat and let the pears cool in the wine then remove them with a slotted spoon and cook the liquid until a thick syrup is obtained. Serve accompanied with the sauce.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver Tuesday to Friday. Orders placed by 9am will be dispatched the same day and will be delivered by our approved courier to arrive within 48 hours. Please be aware that all packages MUST be signed for, checked first and cannot simply be left in a garage or porch.

Orders placed after 9am will be dispatched the following day.

Back Orders

Because we use small suppliers and sell a lot of seasonal products, all goods featured on our website are subject to availability. We endeavour to keep the website updated but if a product you order should be unavailable you will be notified of this by phone or email and given the chance to choose an alternative item, cancel your order completely, or put it on back order to wait until it is in stock (we will ship your other items to you if you wish).

If we are unable to contact you we will go ahead and dispatch the rest of your order without the said item.
