Description: Bella di Cerignola is the largest olive in the world. Green or black in color, this typical variety of Puglia has conquered tables all over the world thanks to its very high quality. Its cultivation has always been an activity of great importance for Cerignola, a municipality in the province of Foggia in the north of Puglia, from which the fruit takes its name. To preserve their beauty and integrity, the olives are hand-picked directly from the tree when they have reached the right degree of ripeness. Carefully selected, they are preserved in water and salt, according to ancient family recipes.
They are the basis of delicious appetizers, to enrich meats, cheeses, and aperitifs. We suggest it in an all-spicy cocktail. See the suggestion section below for the recipe

It was April 9, 1890, when Giovanni Fratepietro inherited the farm located in the Ciminarella district in Cerignola from his grandfather. It will be a legacy destined to leave a mark on his family; the love for the care of the Bella di Cerignola olive groves will be passed on to his sons Carlo, Benedetto, and Domenico. In 1990, Giovanni, Domenico’s son, gave a radical change to company management, with investments aimed at a cutting-edge agricultural model. After five generations, Andrea welcomes this legacy with passion. He graduated in Siena, and began his career as a lawyer, unable to ignore the reference to the land and the history of his family. Thus, in 2004 he returned to Puglia deciding to invest in himself and his loved ones. The help of his father Giovanni is essential in managing the land, his experience guides his life and work. The meeting with Valentina graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in Bologna, becomes a marriage of love but also a professional one. The skills of the two intersect and grow in a common project. The union of the three is the soul of the company, a synergy aimed at elevating a humble job, made of earth and sweat, into a great entrepreneurial project.
